Amazing Story

I knew about the comfort woman but I didn't know how many of them there were or how young many of them were. This is a sad, inspiring, and finally peaceful story. What the comfort women endured is unimaginable to me and yet I know that sexual slavery still exists. May all those who are the enslavers die the death of a thousand cuts.

Thank you for telling this story...it was extremely sad and difficult at times to read but uplifting too. Strength and courage of these women is tremendous. It is a subject that I did not know happened during WWII. We cannot forget what happened to the "comfort women" so that this atrocity never happens again! Well done story of a difficult subject matter.

Persecuted women.

I chose this book because I want the know about other cultures. The anguish of these women is hard to read but important to know. All women should know how women are treated around the world. Will women ever be seen as equals? Will men ever stop using women as only sex objects? I'd like to see all women join hands and fight to overcome the unhumanizing of all women.
